Welcome back to all my amazing readers! Oh and Happy 2017!! I really hope everyone had a truly wonderful holiday with friends and family. I know we did. For those of you who did't hear I got snowed in and had to spend a bit more time visiting. We got sooo much snow that if I hadn't remembered where I parked my car, I would have lost it.
It really brought me back to the good ol days of no school and waist deep drifts back in Winnipeg. Living down here in the lower mainland, you don't really get to experience those wonderful snow days where every parking lot contains massive heaps of the stuff, perfect for sledding. Except for maybe once every 10 years. Giant snowmen pristine and white are in fact possible, free of the usual debris and leaves that get picked up in the tiny sad versions that quickly melt away here. But hey, when cherry blossoms start to bloom and birds are chirping everywhere, the rest of Canada will look out from the frozen tundra and wish they were here. Plus we can just hop in the car and head to Whistler, right?!
If you are missing the holidays already, then check out my very special Fantasy Nail design made for a close friend of mine, Sara Stars. Every year she celebrates the season with a very large group of roving Santas in a event called Santa Con. This past Christmas I made some Candy Cane inspired nails just for the event.
