Love Week: A Valentines Gift for Her

Pampering your Valentine is the best gift you can give to show your love and affection for that special someone. Offering her an experience rather than just another object will leave her with a lasting memory to cherish.
This Valentine's Day is perfect to give her a full Love Week. It's easy to do and each day will bring you so much closer together. She will LOVE it and you will get some serious boyfriend/hubby cred!
Day 1: Start the week off with a special note. It doesn't have to be a sonnet or anything, even something like, "...thinking of you", will send her heart a fluttering. The key is hand written and make sure to stick it somewhere she is sure to find it.
Day 2: Get up early and grab her favorite coffee or morning time drink. She will love how thoughtful you've been, especially on a work day. When she exclaims her surprise and delight, simply say "you deserve it honey". This will work anytime of day really, so if morning's are not your thing then drop one off for her at work sometime during the day.
Day 3: Give Hump Day a better definition... Give your lovely lady a foot massage after her long day. Make it organic and natural, no need to even announce it. Have her lay her legs across your lap while your wathching TV. Slowly and gently massage her feet for the duration of a whole show. The longer you do it the more she will appreciate it...
Day 4: Now to declare your love for all her friends to see! Post something amazing to her Face Book wall like this video by John Legend
Post it with another "...thinking of you". Garanteed to melt hearts everywhere!
Day 5: This is where you kick it up a notch. Surprise her with something she loves. Not something huge or anything, maybe a favorite cupcake, or a single long stem rose or a bouquet of her favorite flowers. Definately bring it to her at work. This will really let her know that all week you've been showing her your love and appreciation. Oh and as a woman I can tell you that getting flowers at work is a big deal. It really makes a girl feel special!
Day 6: V a l e n t i n e ' s D a y itself. Make her breakfast in bed, even if you can't cook the act of bringing her something like a bagel or a bowl of cereal and a juice or coffee will show her that you tried. Extra credit if you can serve it on a tray with a little flower in some water and have her favorite magazine on the side.
After breakfast ask her to go for a walk. This could be a walk for walks sake or you can take her to your neigborhood nail salon to get a Mani/ Pedi ( I highly recommend booking in advance as it is Valentine's Day after all!) Finish off the day with a night out to a nice restaurant ( again book in advance!!!), or better yet stay home! Set a romantic table for two with some rse petals strewn about and some candles. Order in from your favorite take out, and make sure to have a delicious bottle of wine to go with your meal, as well, pick up a decadent dessert before hand to finish it off.
And Viola, a Valentines she will always remember!
